В статье рассматривается произошедшие изменения в СМИ Якутии в период объявленной М. С. Горбачевым политики гласности. Как пример авторами взяты номера газеты ҺМолодежь Якутииһ за 1987-1988 гг. На основе анализа материалов газеты определены основные темы и отдельно выделена тема защиты Зеленого луга. Авторы приходят к выводу, что политика гласности открыла возможности для свободного обмена мнениями и дискуссии в обществе вокруг актуальных тем.
The article examines the changes in the media of Yakutia during the period of the glasnost policy announced by M.S. Gorbachev. As an example, the authors studied the issues of the newspaper "Youth of Yakutia" ("Molodej Yakutii") for 1987-1988. The main topics of publications of this period were analyzed. The topic of protecting of an important place for Yakutsk residents’ community Green Meadow (Zeleny Loog) wadis cussed in more detail. The authors conclude that the policy of publicity really opened up opportunities for discussion and free exchange of views around topical problems for society
